Before Applying
- Ensure you have relevant high school and college transcripts ready. In case you don’t yet have your official transcripts, you can submit unofficial transcripts to enroll in up to 12 credit hours until your official transcripts are sent ahead.
- Get all the information you need on the specific programs you’re interested in. Programs may have different eligibility criteria and credit requirements. Before you apply, ensure you meet these criteria for a smooth application process.
- Ensure you’re aware of the application deadlines so that you don’t miss them. (Application Deadline: December 18, 2025)
After Applying
- Once you apply, you will need to send in your transcripts and relevant documents. As mentioned earlier, unofficial transcripts are accepted, but only let you enroll in up to 12 credit hours, until your official transcripts are sent ahead. If submitting unofficial transcripts, you may also need to fill a High School Self-Certification form.
- Some degree programs may have additional requirements such as an essay, letters of recommendation, certificates of completion for specialized training programs, and similar documents. Make sure to submit these on time, to attend classes from the earliest start date.
Financial Aid
- As an accredited university, Liberty allows eligible students to use federal and private grants, scholarships, and financial aid. Make sure you have your FAFSA completed prior to class registration. Liberty’s school code is 010392. Filling the FAFSA is necessary to be considered for most financial aid.
- Liberty offers institutional scholarships and is a military-friendly school. Virginia residents can apply for the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant. Students pursuing online teaching programs may be eligible for the Federal TEACH Grant.
